gestuo guides you through four steps. The process is designed to remove guesswork, protect both sides, and leave the creative work where it belongs — with the artist.

Step One
Describe your vision
Answer seven guided questions about subject, style, colours, mood, scale, and where the piece will live. Our AI brief wizard translates what you see in your head into a structured brief an artist can act on. If AI is unavailable, you can fill in the same fields by hand — you are never blocked.

Step Two
Choose your artist
We match you with curated artists whose style fits your brief. Browse their portfolios, read reviews, and message the artist directly to ask questions about their process. When you are ready, you select the artist and your brief is shared immediately.
Most briefs are accepted within 48 hours.

Step Three
Review the concept
Your artist develops a concept — a sketch, a digital mock, or a first pass on the final piece. You review, request revisions (up to three are included), and approve. For original commissions, you pay a 30% deposit on approval. We hold it in escrow.
Concepts arrive within 3–14 days of brief acceptance.

Step Four
Receive your artwork
For digital concepts, you receive a signed download link valid for 24 hours. For prints, we produce and ship via Printful with a tracking number. For originals, the artist ships via PACK & SEND with insurance, and you pay the balance on delivery.
You only pay the balance when you are happy.
Common Questions
Process, in detail
How long does the full process take?
Digital concepts: 1–3 days from brief to download. Prints: 5–10 days including production and shipping. Original commissions: 2–6 weeks depending on medium, size, and revision rounds.
Can I message the artist during the process?
Yes. Once your brief is shared, you can message the artist directly. Most artists reply within 24 hours. Email notifications keep you updated even when you are offline.
What if the artist does not respond?
Briefs automatically return to the pool after 7 days of no response. You will be notified and can choose a different artist without losing your brief or deposit.
Can I commission more than one piece at a time?
Yes. Each commission is its own brief, and you can run several in parallel with different artists.
